I have now converted my faithful Enfield to twin spark. Electronic ignition has been used for a long time, now fitted a dual output micro coil , Removed decompressor, blanked off the vent hole into the exhaust port, and fitted a special plug , kicked her alive again

definately better running on tick over, remove one lead and the difference can be heard, all we need now is a decent run to try it out.

Did you use different size plugs??

Fitted a 14mm long reach but with the small hexagon, then made a brass spacer so the plug can be undone with a plug spanner, this saves any machining of cylinder head, and if desired the plug can be removed and the decompressor valve refitted.

Have you put it on the Dyno yet???

Would be interesting to see the different power curves!
