service time

Postby devon john » Sun Oct 01, 2017 11:44 am

the Bullet has been redundant most of the summer ,

as it the first of the winter months it needs a few little jobs to get ready for the Ecky Thump rally in a couple of weeks

oil ,change in all three holes ,,check head bolts ajust tappets ,chain etc ,

looking forward to ride this one again ,,, i have been riding the 1950s HYDRA GLIDE Harley and have clocked up around 3,000mls ,,, i have now almost mastered the foot clutch and hand change ,,, took longer than i thought but there now ,

enjoy, and post pics, I really did want to come, but it was going to cost a fortune for a two day rally :|
and I'm tight, I have an offer for a run 700km south for the same weekend, , no ferry costs, and for every mile I ride it gets warmer not colder!!!
sorry John, as lovely as you are, you can't compete with Spain in the sun.
I really do hope the rally is great and wish I was there with you guys

I certainly am.

I've wrapped myself up in cotton wool to make sure that I don't break anything ahead of next weekend.

Maybe I should take the train?

Dont like that idea of "change all 3 holes" sounds rude and only something that happens in north Devon.

Good news about the Hardly Tractorson driving technique, you will now have to learn to drive an Enfield again.
